An interesting article I read today...

NY Times: Book Lovers Fear Dim Future for Notes in the Margins

Follow the link, read the article, leave a comment here about it, and there's a mighty good chance there will be a little extra credit in it for you.

Oh yeah, check back for other random, unannounced extra credit opportunities this semester, too. You never know what you might find...

Then, begin reading Oedipus the King in your anthology, through the first episode and stasimon and begin answering the study questions you will find on the back of the article. (Unfortunately, I can't find the exact line or page numbers for those of you who weren't in class, but reading the first 10 pages or so, should put you near to it, and you can get the questions in class next week.)

Wednesday

AP Lit: Maybe a Brave New World is upon us?

Even Justin Bieber seems to think Aldous Huxley wasn't too far off. Scary implications for the future, on so many levels. (And seriously, whether you're a fan of his music or not, you have to admit that Bieber must have a pretty good sense of humor about himself.)
