Week of 3/19/12:

Here is the run down of the last week:
  • Completed a visual comparing F451 and three other supplementary readings we've done. Presented this to class.
  • Finished reading and discussing Fahrenheit 451.
  • Took F451 reading quiz #3.
  • Completed "Opening Adverb" practice of sentence composing.
  • Began writing about Montag's changing view of fire and the symbolism of the river at the end of the novel. (Handout received on Friday 3/23.)
HW: Over Spring Break, you need to read the materials in the packet you received on Friday. (If you were absent, here are the titles.) You should continue compiling three-column notes like you have for all the supplemental reading packets we've looked at.
