Monday: Collected your LOTF paragraphs about Chapter 1 and checked that you had some Chapter 2 notes. Class time to work on SpringBoard activity 1.8 "Cut."
HW: Read through Chapter 3 in LOTF by Wednesday and continue taking double-entry journal notes.
Tuesday: Discussed Chapter 2 in LOTF.
HW: Through Chapter 3 by tomorrow.
Wednesday: Began with 10 minute LOTF Chapter 3 reading quiz. Then, we completed a close reading (fire at the end of Chapter 2) together.
HW: Closely re-read pages 48-49 and take notes on Jack and the environment. Then, closely re-read and take notes on pages 56-57 and take notes on Simon and the environment. Notice the contrast.
Also, you should begin reading Chapter 4 in LOTF. You need to be through this chapter, with notes on it, by Friday.
