Freshmen:
Reviewed and finished vocabulary activity we started last Thursday. Then, we began reading the article "When Good People Do Evil."
Here's the upcoming time line of events for the rest of the semester:
Wed: Finish article
Thurs: Begin final assessment/assignment (all in-class in small groups)
Fri: Finish final assessment/assignment and turn in
Mon: Review day
Tues: Vocabulary Final Exam (know all 60 words)
Wed: Last day to turn in Book Project #2
AP Lit:
Shared Brave New World essay drafts. Please take the next several days to work on these. If you want specific feedback or input from me, please arrange to come see me before or after school and we can sit down together and discuss your paper before you turn in your final draft next week.
HW: Read "Once Upon a Time" in preparation for in-class essay tomorrow.
So you can plan accordingly, here is a breakdown of the rest of the term:
Wed: In-class essay on "Once Upon a Time" and Brave New World
Thurs: Another in-class essay involving Brave New World
Fri: Choose which in-class essay you will submit for scoring
Tues or Wed(?): Final Fiction Exam. This will be over the literary terminology and works we have covered so far this year. Here is a link to the terms that may appear on this test.
Wed: Brave New World essay and Metacognition due.
