Freshmen:
Vocab quiz and some SSR time.
HW: Read Chapter 2 in LOTF and take notes. Quotes should be passages that really show the boys' maturity or immaturity. Also, read pages 8-10 in the LOTF Reader and think about how this might connect to the novel.
AP Lit:
Vocab quiz, then we looked at a few poems and talked about tone. I collected the paragraph you wrote about the love poem.

HW: For those of you who realize "Senior Skip Day" is stupid, for Monday read pages 431-440 in the text. Also, read the poems "A Certain Lady," "We Real Cool", and "To His Coy Mistress." Jot down some notes on what we know about the speakers of these 3 poems.
