Freshmen:
Handed out LOTF Readers and note-taking sheets. Continued reading Chapter 1.
HW: Finish reading Chapter 1 and work on reading notes. Also, read pages 4-7 of the Reader and take margin notes on your thoughts and responses.
AP Lit:
Began some notes on Poetry Terms-- this is the beginning of a very long list.
Discussed some aspects of last night's reading.
HW: From Chapter 8 of the text, read: Barbie Doll, Woodchucks, Aunt Jennifer's Tigers, After Making Love We Hear Footsteps, Those Winter Sundays, The Clock and Alzheimer's.
Also, write ONE detailed and well-supported paragraph that answers the following question: Which of the love poems on pages 399-415 has the most intimate tone? Cite specific ways the poet creates this tone.
