Freshmen:
Today we finished the OAKS Reading practice test, finished the Greek Roots pretest and had a few minutes of work or library time.
HW: Study for vocabulary quiz. Remember to bring SSR book.
AP Lit:
We watched the awesome animated Oedipus with vegetables, and listened to Tom Lehrer's Oedipus Rex song. Then you had a few minutes to finish your in-class essay and begin brainstorming for the "creative" writing assignment which is due on Tuesday.
HW: Study your vocab for tomorrow. We'll begin reading Hamlet together and over the weekend you'll need to read through scene 3 of Act 1 and complete the study questions.
