Today we finished working our way through 1.7 in the Springboard book-- specifically we read and talked about Oranges and Spotlight, and imagery and tone.
HW: For tomorrow you need to read Chapter 1 in Lord of the Flies, and you need to draft a paragraph (or two) in response to the writing prompt on page 18. Use your graphic organizer to help you find specific details and examples for your paragraph.
